Copilot Feature Controls

Copilot feature controls let admins enable or disable specific Copilot capabilities, such as Copilot Search, web content access, agent availability, and connectors.

Copilot feature controls are the per-capability settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center that let administrators scope what Microsoft 365 Copilot can do across an organization. From the Copilot settings pages, admins can restrict web content access, govern which Microsoft Graph connectors surface data, configure Copilot Search behavior, and control whether agents built in Copilot Studio are available to users. The exam distinction is that the Copilot Control System is the overall governance framework, while feature controls are the specific switches inside it. Settings generally apply organization-wide unless scoped to particular users or groups.
